About This Project

The Drake residence is a ground-up custom home in Scottsdale — a sprawling single-story build on a generous lot, designed to maximize the indoor-outdoor living experience the Arizona lifestyle demands.

From aerial perspective, the home's footprint is organized around a central courtyard and negative-edge pool, with living wings extending outward to capture views and manage solar orientation. The roof plane is a defining architectural feature — low-pitched with deep overhangs that shade the glazing during summer months.

CMI managed the full construction scope from site clearing through final landscaping. The project required coordination of 24 subcontractor scopes and was delivered within the original 14-month schedule.
